Our letter

A NOTE WITH LOVE;

Dear Storyteller,
Growing up as a traveler, moving from place to place like a nomad, I perceived life as a beautiful chaos of time spent between packing and unpacking my suitcase. My clothes became my companions through every season and every stop – and they never let me down. Even when they were worn out.

Not fully settling anywhere, considering every home temporary, brings a bit of fun; but it also brings the feeling of belonging everywhere rather than nowhere, to everyone you love along the journey rather than no one. The clothes trailing my steps in my suitcase became the most permanent thing I could hold onto; because they carry my best, my worst, and my most unique stories. And often, they suit people. No ghosting, gaslighting, or manipulation – guaranteed.

I finally realized that we have written all these calm and crazy stories together; they have become my second skin, which I inhabit. We rested together; we went crazy together. So I understood that they were my true best friends – they even helped me with every first impression I made on a stranger. Those strangers of the past, now perhaps friends.

What remains in the end are the stories in our hearts; and we are, after all, made of them. Even the stories of our ancestors from generations ago quietly shape us. The power of telling each other stories is so magical; it helps us to believe, to start relationships, to build friendships, to generate ideas, to create art, to found companies or brands, to discover needs, and to share our vulnerabilities.

I realized this: As long as we are the main characters, clothes are the best supporting actors in our narrative. Even in moments when we feel we are being blown by the wind, we remain grounded in our clothes. And when the sun – as it always does – rises again, we want them to flow and dance with us to the rhythm. In any case, we have always written stories together, and we always will. Moreover, they absorb the scent of our loved ones; they bring back memories – which is why we keep some pieces to ourselves, sometimes secretly. They were there. They are there. For us.

So many easy hellos and difficult goodbyes; so many places to meet unique people. The love we feel for someone we connect with grows so much that in the end, we bring the people we love together – there’s nothing better for us. That’s why we can’t help but fall in love with every story whose path crosses ours. After all those beautiful, messy, and crazy stories; we are hopeless believers who think our best days are yet to come. Our best stories have not yet been written.

On this path, we wish for Storytellers to be a true friend and to make you feel as at home as your own stories. May home not be a place; but a feeling of being accepted, understood, and loved. We are happy to be inside, and outside, your story.

With love, peace, madness, and gratitude,

Storytellers;
