ON A LOVING NOTE;
Dear Storyteller,
Growing up as a traveler, and moving from one place to another like a nomad, I've perceived life as a beautiful chaos of the time between packing and unpacking my suitcase. My clothes have been my companions through every season & destination, and they’ve never let me down. Even when over worn.
Not settling down properly, and considering every home temporary bring some fun but also a sense of belonging to nowhere but everywhere, as well as no one but everyone you love through the journey. My clothes, following my steps in a suitcase, have been more permanent to hold on to, as they carry all my best, worst and most unique stories. They are mostly flattering too. No ghosting, gaslighting or manipulating guaranteed.
After all, I figured we have created all these calm and wild stories together, as they were my second skin I’ve settled in. We've chilled together; we've gone crazy together. In other words, I figured they have been the real best friend, and they even helped with my every single first impression on a stranger. Strangers then, now maybe friends.
In the end, all we have left is our stories in our hearts, and that’s all we are made of. Even our ancestors' stories from generations ago silently shape us. The power of telling stories to each other is so amazing that it helps believe, start relationships, make friends, create ideas, make art, build companies or brands, discover needs, and share our vulnerabilities.
I’ve realized that as long as we are the main characters, clothes are the best supporting roles in our narratives. Even at times when we feel like we’re carried by the wind, we feel grounded in clothes. And when the sun comes back up as it always does, we want them to flow and dance with us through the rhythm. In any case, we always have, and always will create stories together. And they often absorb the smell of our loved ones too, which bring back memories so we keep certain pieces for ourselves, sometimes secretly. They have been there. They are there. For us.
Many easy welcomes and hard goodbyes, and various places to meet unique human beings. There is nothing better to us than holding so much love for a person we connect with, that we eventually bring people we love together. So we can't help but fall in love with every story we cross paths with. After all the beautiful, messy and wild stories, we are hopeless believers that our best days are yet to come. Our best stories are yet to be written.
Along the way, we hope Storytellers; becomes a true friend, and gives you the home feeling almost as much as your own stories do. For home not to be a place but rather a feeling of being accepted, understood and loved.We’re beyond happy to be within your story, on the outside.
With love, peace, madness, and gratitude,
Storytellers;
